Our sustainability focus areas

Action for sustainability needs a broad approach and strong leadership. As one of Australia’s largest vocational education training providers, at TAFE  NSW we can set an example and lead the way.

We have four priorities in our sustainability strategy:

• tackling climate change
• embracing a circular economy
• creating healthy environments, and
• educating and engaging our staff, learners and the community.

At TAFE NSW we’re committed to responding to industry trends and skills gaps. To this end, students can undertake studies in renewable energy and sustainability. These courses are key to preparing the NSW workforce for future needs.
