For Sanita Lole, Careers Administration at Marian Catholic College, the YES Program in Carpentry provides new opportunities for students who struggle in a traditional learning environment and are undecided about their career aspirations. “The YES program is extremely popular amongst our students because it offers them an outlet for practical learning that they otherwise wouldn’t experience,” says Ms Lole.

“The program equips students with essential skills in a supportive and adult learning environment. Through practical learning, teamwork and critical thinking, our students have the chance to build confidence and resilience, helping to prepare them for future training and employment pathways,” says Ms Lole.
